Louis the pious did not respect the peace treaty, he wanted to help Harald to get the Danish throne. Harald became a christian and betrayed his old faith, in an expensive party at the castle Ingelheim, Mainz, Harald Klak was baptized on 24th June. The emperor also gave the county Rustringen in Frisia where Harald Klak could seek refuge if he didn`t win back the throne.
